I have a 1st grader and a kindergartener that goes to this school, my 1st graders teacher is awesome. Go Ms Ulrich…..The school is really good when it comes to security they have the school very secured and I love that about the school. But there are some rude teachers I’ve done encountered at Babcock an both are kindergarten teachers, I’m happy to say my daughter is NOT in neither of their classes. My daughter has asthma, eczema, an allergies, also she has unknown allergies that im not aware of neither so I will stay wit her on her first day of school to make sure all goes well, especially on the playground. I felt it was rude of miss Graves to tell me an my husband to take off now so that her teacher can bond with her, first off she will have plenty of time to bond with my daughter, second if my daughter is NOT comfortable with me leaving just yet then I’m not going to go, third I want to make sure that my daughter isn’t allergic to anything on the playground. I feel teachers shouldn’t be concerned with parents stay on their children’s first day of school, especially in my situation. Idk why Miss Graves has any say so about my daughter she isn’t in your class to begin with so mind your business an worry about your own students. On a good note I feel Ms Finn is a good teacher as far as I saw, I think my daughter is in the right class with the right teacher.
I’ll remember to go to elementary school for almost more than 20 years since my 4th-6th grade & graduated in 1998. Missing that elementary school because to bring back some memories………..
This school has history with generations of family that attended or presently going. . They gotta keep the doors open, even tho budget cuts have it in its target..
