Exceptional daycare and Montessori School for a very reasonable price. My husband and I toured 6 daycares in the area with infant programs and did a tour with the director. When we took our tour I didn’t know much about the Montessori Program, but have since become a fan of the approach. My husband and I come from very different back grounds, but after touring the school we looked at each other and both said, “Wow! We would love for our child to go here.” After touring all the other schools, we also couldn’t believe the price, $800 per month cheaper than Cadence Academy, and $500 per month cheaper than Cottage Kids for infant care, and we liked this school’s approach much better that either of those.

It can take a long time to get in, so get on the waitlist early. We were on the waitlist for a year and were so happy when our son was accepted. I was originally thinking that if we had the money I would prefer a nanny in our house vs taking our infant to a daycare, but now that I know about Marconi Montessori I would choose them over any other care in a heartbeat.

Our son loved the school right from the start. He hardly had time to say goodbye he was so excited to play with his friends, the teachers and toys at school.

One thing that impressed us about the school is the organization of the rooms, they are all clean and very organized, designed to provide an educationally stimulating environment without overwhelming the kids. We toured the preschool room and several of the students were doing math games on their own and very excited to show us how they put away their toys.

Ms. Fiey in the infant room runs a tight ship. She is the lead teacher and she got our son on a schedule when we weren’t able to do that a home. She got him taking 2 to 3 naps a day on the Montessori infant beds, used the baby-led weaning approach we requested to give him the food we provided, works to reinforce the baby signs we are working on at home and gives a detailed report at the end of the day. Our son is also very attached to Ms. Ashley, and on several occasions cried because she was having so much fun with her he didn’t want to come home.

Additionally, I have been very impressed with the school’s response to the COVID pandemic. They stopped school to meet with licensing, followed the licensing guidance and have re-opened for essential families while providing virtual offerings. The Director also convened an emergency parent advisory board and has been working around the clock to keep us in the loop and make sure the school continues to run.

I can’t say enough good things about the school. We are extremely impressed and so happy to have our son in school here.

My daughter loved her time at Marconi Montessori. The teachers were engaged and kind, the administration is very active. When we moved to the Carmichael area we initially started my daughter at a different Montessori school that was more of a daycare. Marconi Montessori is a more true to Montessori experience. My son went through Montessori preschool and elementary and had a great experience with the learning style and hands in materials. Marconi Montessori was a great environment and supportive learning experience. I highly recommend it!
My son has been going here for over a year now, we started when he was 18 monts. He has grown so much and keeps learning a tone. I like how the school has a large play area outside which was very important to us. We also like how clean the classrooms are. The teachers are very responsive and respectful to my son and us as parents. We love our choice for daycare/school for our son and we feel like he will be on track or ahead of others when starting 1st grade.
