This school has become an embarrassment!!! I am so disgusted that after the last issue with bullying I will never bring my child back to this terrible place. Throughout the year my daughter was bullied by several of the children in the safety patrol . These kids get a little power and start to act like Pascos not so finest. The principal takes the time to talk to my daughter but doesn’t even as so much say a word to any of the bullies. Some of the teacher AIDS even get in on this ridiculousness.I swear this over weight childless teacher aid would actually side with the bullies and pick on my kid. It’s hard to believe how far downhill this school has gone. And every year it goes to new lows. There are a few good teachers here but between all the new standards, terrible principles, and parents running around doped up out of their minds there’s not a whole lot they can do. I tried to stick it out because of our amazing kindergarten & 1st grade teacher Mrs.Shipe the best teacher in the whole wide world btw, and because this is the only school she’s ever known. But I can’t do it anymore, and when bullies are allowed to be in positions of power it’s my last straw. I went to this school for three years after it first opened up and let me tell you that what is allowed to go on now a days wouldn’t fly when the was a kid. I have lost my last night of sleep and my daughters last night of dread are over because this horrible school is now a memory. My only regret is that I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought hay maybe things will get better, but no they got a new principal who could not care less about these children. Please if you are thinking of going here or sticking it out. DON’T!!!!!
Enrolling my daughter here was the best thing I have ever done. This school is amazing. She is in 1st grade this year and both teachers she has had have gone above and beyond. We are truly blessed. The school staff are like family. I feel so safe leaving my daughter her during the day to learn and grow. She is in good hands. The school offers free breakfast to all students every morning, as well as hollow diner where you can come to have a wonderful free meal with your family served by the teachers and staff of fox hollow on monday nights.they also offer homework help at hollow diner and sometimes child friendly activities. They have before/after school care programs. The school grounds and classrooms are clean and well maintained. The office staff are friendly and accommodating. The library is full of books. The school concerts are always cute and each and every teacher take time to come and participate in the preformances. They offer quarterly conferences with teachers but the teaching staff keep you informed about anything regarding your child at all times. My daughter has moved up 2 reading levels this year and I have the wonderful teaching staff at fox hollow to thank. Not only has her love of reading grown this year, her love of school in general has grown. There are not enough things I can say about how Amazing this little school is. Looking forward to many years with this amazing School and Staff. ????
A very concerned nana writing this review today. I was horrified that so many young ones had to unknowingly inhaled tons and tons of car pollution. Im sure if you brought a Co,C6H6,HC,SO2,,NOx,and CO2 detector you would shocked. While i was sitting in line( with car off) i saw so many little lungs walking by 50+ cars. This made me write a detailed review as to something we all need to do to lessen pollution at this school.#1 Use a clean detergent Aka engine flush,#2 Buy higher octane fuel you will get better gas mileage. #3 Change all filters more frequently. #4 Change your oil more ofter. Please take notice if your young one has morning headaches, nausea, chest pains, even confusion. This could be a serious side effects of inhaling carbon monoxide fumes while walking to school early in the morning they need a safer walking path for children so they don’t have to pass exhaust pipes. I am horrified this needs to be solved. But im from Maine and i have ZERO authority to help your children and my grandson. Please be safe and please take my advice.
