Back to school night tonight. This review is for parents of Special needs, you will be so pleased with the teachers and support staff. The only alarming thing it’s my mother-in-law picked up my sick daughter from school and she’s on the “ok list”, but they didn’t ask her for her ID, and they’d never met her before. These days what with all the scary stuff in the news you’d think they’d stick to LAUSD ID policy at an elementary school campus? That’s my only qualm. Great little campus, they keep the big kids separate from the little kids and encourage mainstreaming when possible. Great teacher student ratio here only 5 kids in her TK class with one aide and am OT who’s always hanging out there all week. I wish it had more grass, but it does have a small patch on the playground. It’s a title 1 school, so kids all eat breakfast for Free. I pay $3 lunch. Mrs.B is wonderful, as is Mrs.DeLeon. I’m so glad she’s happy here at the new school! Thanks!??
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE school PRINCIPAL MR BROOKS and staff should be FIRED they do not care about students well being principal and staff have not done anything to set examples of morale or respect for students students are constantly excessively bullied and harassed by older students in the presence of staff. with a principal that doesn’t care he promotes a who cares attitude and staff carry this attitude to student there is no structure or motivation with staff. staff does whatever they want and the office is too busy chatting they don’t even acknowledge you when you enter the office you have to request there attention this is such a disgrace of a school and this PRINCIPAL THINKS HES A MEDICAL DOCTOR HE HAS DIAGNOSED 15 of my friends kids WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES WHAT A IDIOT WHERE IS HIS MEDICAL DEGREE . FIRE THE PRINCIPAL HE CANT DO HIS JOB
The teachers are extremely great however, they have THE WORST office staff you can ever deal with, Its like no matter what you ask or who theyre always BOTHERED. They always give a response with an attitude and Ive witnessed how they talk to the students. Sad & Disappointing!
