One of the worst districts I’ve seen. My son is in kindergarten and since day 1 he has experienced physical bullying by 3 different students. We’ve called, sent letters and my son has tried speaking up himself nothing is ever done! My son started the year off excited to make new friends now he’s scared to go most days because he’s being hit and pinched and called names my other 5 year Olds, he says his teacher doesn’t care or listen that when he tells her the other kids are hitting him or pinching him she just says stop and goes back to what she’s doing. It’s bullsht and absolutely disgusting that they cannot manage to properly supervise a group of 5 year olds!
There is a lack of any kind of action for inappropriate behavior on the buses. My grandson has issues weekly with the same bully yet even after speaking with school staff nothing is done. How about a bus monitor to get control of the same bullies on the bus and do something about it. Shame on General Brown for inaction to parents complaints, but you want us all to vote for your huge school budget.
This is the worst school they don’t care if you have an IEP, they will just do whatever. I would not let my kids come to this school. I have been bullied in this school so many times they will just talk to the kids and then those kids will just do it again. This school should be shut down. I would go to Sackets because the teachers there know my family the best.
