Most of the administrative staff is completely inept. Our teacher was great, but even she was frustrated with the school. The heat in my kids classroom was broken for 3 months, kids had to bring coats to school. It wasn’t until I personally brought it up with their maintenance man that he said no one had told him about it… it was fixed a day later. The locked the doors to the school when school let out, despite kids still being in after school programs. I had to file a grievance with the school board to get them to unlock a door so I could just pickup my kid. They fired the principle finally, hopefully things will change now. Did I mention the sinkhole? Yes, there was a 6′ sinkhole in the middle of the playground for weeks. They just kept shoveling in dirt, wondering where it was all going to until they finally hired someone to dig it out.
This place is horrid, stay away. There are some nice teachers there. However, the place is in a poor state of repair. The principal is USELESS. She often ignores messages, or if she does reply blows off your concerns and requests. There is extremely high student turnover as well.
