We decided to enroll our son here from 6th thru 8th grade after putting up with ISD for the elementary years. We will always be grateful to Mary and the wonderful staff here. The classes are smaller and the kids are accepted and valued for who they are. The staff was supportive and really gets to know each and every family and child. Our son is highly capable and they saw that and wanted to foster that instead of labeling him. Our daughter also attended this school and had a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!
We had a hard time while our 3-year-old kid was in Arbor. While overall school staff tried to be friendly and helpful. Few points, in my opinion, like lack of a dedicated place for a nap, short Wednesdays or communication problems with English not being first language for my son caused a behavioral crisis which Arbor was unable to tackle and we had to withdraw our son mid-year.
P.S. Read the Family Handbook!
My two kids have been coming here since they were babies. Now my oldest is turning 6 and is excited to start the new school year as a k-leader. Great programs, great staff, very organized, wonderfully located, allowing for walks to the library, YMCA, and farmers market in Wednesdays, and lots of space for the kids to run, plant, and even take care of chickens! Highly recommend!
