I don’t know anything about this school other than one of their employees thought it to be a prudent and excellent idea to have third grade students write “get well” letters to convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal. To influence a child against our justice system is horribly wrong on so many levels. A public school is never the proper setting to express subversive anti-government agendas.
She must be fired. Marilyn Juniga has no business influencing and propagating hate in a classroom.
I went to this school about 7 years ago, I didnt like most of the staff and on top of that I think most of the teachers hated me along with almost of all the other students cause they saw me differently than everyone else there but aside from getting bullied all the time to getting yelled at by teachers, I had a good time. I wish I could contact them just to say hello to all the staff that are still there from when I was there ~ Leo Navarro
A school that has teachers that have third graders write letters to convicted murderers? I think not. I hope this school has taken action and terminated this woman ASAP. Is this the lesson you want taught… being a pen pal with a Cop killer. Shame on this school and this district. You will have a black eye until you rectify this! Disgraceful..
