I had a great experience here as a student from Year 8 – 12! Always felt supported by teachers and staff, a diverse curriculum and lots of opportunities beyond the classroom. Also a strong sense of social justice and making positive contributions to the world.
Literally got bullied by my entire year level in year 5 and the teachers did nothing but help my exclusion.

I was stopped from participating in many extra curricular activities because I didn’t fit the look of the more popular girls.

Teachers did not care for me at all, even corrected them more than once because they were wrong.

Worst of all, I came out as Bi to a few students, who immediately told the teachers. I was brought in to a counselor and the VICE PRINCIPAL called my mother to inform her of my ‘problem’. The counselor asked me why I thought I liked other girls rather than asking how I was feeling after coming out. The teachers all taught me differently after this and treated me as if I was a threat, I was in year 7.

Would only send my kids here if i really hated them, went here for 7years and honestly biggest chunk taken out of my youth, would be better giving your children a public education for their mental sake and for you’re pocket
Both of my daughters have transferred to SAC at different stages in their schooling, and we are so happy with the difference in both of them. Teachers are honest when giving feedback at P/T interviews, even making suggestions that may help with homework, and they have all gotten back to us with emails so far. The lady in accounts was happy to give me 5 minutes of her day when I needed to make changes to our account payments. Even the lovely lady at the front desk remembers most of the girls’ names!
I tried to enroll my son here, but they declined because of gender. The most sexist school you’ll ever come across.
