My son goes to this school because he was being bullied in public school. He requested this school. Its expensive the clothes are expensive they have to do two extra after school classes per year or what ever so my kid does chess and track and he lovethrhe s both. My son is also the lion mascot and he loves being the mascot for the school. They send home a lot of home work and if the kids don’t get it done they get detention the next day. Which my kid gets all the time now
And ive been helping him with his home work when we got home after we had to run errand eat dinner did the days events right. So I sat down with my son to help and we stayed up till midnight doing homework and he still had more to do but he forgot some kinda map he needed at school. I’m just saying. There is a lot of work to be done.
A damaging, oppressive environment where the constant threat is that God might be displeased with you. Color outside the lines- well, now God is displeased. I wish I exaggerating. Ask me about the time the entire class wasted an entire class standing in the stairwell in silence until someone confessed to dropping an apple down the stairwell. Or about the kids who were kicked out when their parents divorced. I wish I had been given a chance to learn and to fail along the way without believing that God was disappointed in me all the time.
Immanuel Christian School provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and flourish. I am an educator myself, and wanted a school with high academic standards, but an atmosphere of encouragement and grace.

I love that I can be involved with helping at school, and have the opportunity to get to know the teachers and other students.

Scholarships help make this private school affordable, but the return on investment is beyond comprehension.
