We moved here after Thanksgiving. Thee days after enrolling our daughter in this school, she said “I hate school.” Those were words we never thought we would hear from her. She comes home and tells of how students spend their days throwing spitballs, having several fights in a single day, a teacher cursing at students, students being unruly, and other things. After a week, there she confirmed our worst fear that she is learning things that she learned in the sixth grade. I am trying my hardest to get her out of there but finding that the school board is less than helpful. My experience so far is making me regret ever moving to Memphis and I can understand why Memphis has made the most miserable cities in the US.
