My son has attended this school since kindergarten. He is now in 1st grade. For kindergarten, he had Ms McLin. I’ve sat in the classroom during her lessons and she is great! She knows how to keep the children involved. Now he has Ms. Clark. She knew about my son even before his first day and was glad to have him! I’ve sat in her classroom as well, again, above and beyond for keeping the kids interested and learning. Both teachers kept an open rapport as far as communicating with me. Besides the point of conveniently living a block away from the school, I can honestly say this school is awesome! The teachers are great. They are very concerned about the students. The principal is even better! She is so passionate with what she does. My son and I are greeted every morning with a smiling face and encouraging words of reading at least 20 minutes a night. I love it! I feel that my son is in great hands with his education and well being. My 4 year old son will be ready for pre-k next year and I’m ecstatic about him having the same opportunity as his big brother. The whole faculty is very intuned with the children. I get a warm welcome every time I visit, which is every day lol. I am blessed to have such a great school near my home. This is a real and honest review. I’m a full time student. I work two jobs and I have two growing sons so this school makes my life a little easier.
