My 74yr old Mom lives 2 blocks away from the school and was verbally harassed by the school’s resource officer for walking her dog too close to the school’s front gate! He berated her for more than 15mins while I listened on the phone. She was informed that the school’s VP thought Mom looked odd and possibly threatening. I immediately contacted the Principal and Vice Principal to request that a conversation be had w/ the officer re: his tone and how he addressed the situation. I understand the need to secure our schools but this behavior was truly uncalled for.. Thanks Brian, Angela and Officer Buhler for ruining my Mom’s day and making her cry!!!!!!! BTW.. No signs posted. No apology offered. Sad!
