This school is nothing short of outstanding. My 5 year old- who was having some behavior issues before enrollment- has become a different child. My 7 year old- who scored low in reading apprehension previously- is improving far quicker than when she went to public school. I watch my kids walk into school and am lucky enough to see one of the kindergarten teachers give each of her students a hug when they arrive. At conferences, the love the teachers express tells me they are there for the kids, not a job. When there is a disagreement among students, the first thing the teachers do is pray with the students. The communication among staff and parents is thorough. The curriculum is a year ahead of public school, and with multiple staff and aides for smaller class sizes, no student gets left behind. I am a firm believer who has a close relationship with God and have been attending church my entire life; I used to think my Bible knowledge was extensive until my kids started coming home teaching me things They learned in the Bible that day that I was clueless about. That in itself tells me they’re in the right spot. Their motto is “Love God, Love People” and it shows in all they do.
We love this school. This staff is warm and welcoming. We found this school online before we ever moved to town. We called and Sonda in the office kept helping us through the process time and time again answering all of our questions. Now that we are here we know that we have made the best decision. The building is secure. The curriculum is solid. The teachers are WONDERFUL, and the pastor even greeted us personally on our first day! They go above and beyond to show love to everyone who comes through the doors. I have been in the office when someone comes in needing help and everyone jumps in to offer help. Where else does this happen? The parents are great, all in all this has made our transition to the city so much better!
I do not understand these negative reviews here. They do not make sense, I almost did not come to this school because of them, but after 3 months I have seen no evidence of anything these people say. Apparently some of these people just have an ax to grind. God is God and this school is teaching and demonstrating the Gospel, it appears that they have come under attack for following Jesus. So be it, they are better for it!
This school is truly passionate about the students and their success. There is such a sense of family and support throughout the school. I have watched this school develop through the years from attending myself, to now my children attending. The school has evolved to keep up with modern teaching and technology, but still remained committed to the students and their success as well rounded individuals. No matter the changes though, they have remained constant in their passion to grow the children in their relationship with Jesus above all. I would highly recommend this school!
