Love trying to give the girls experience but this place has become an absolute joke!! There are WAY too many students crammed in there, the instructors are rude and not helpful at all. While I was there I witnessed girls going through others bags and stealing their stuff! There’s no control of the place in any type of way. The icing on the cake was when I was rudely told to leave my 5 year old alone and to sit in the lobby. I was not nice when I told her there was no way I was leaving my child’s side. She then required him to sit on my lap, which made the stylist job nearly impossible. With absolutely no room to move around because there’s stylists everywhere, it was also extremely hot in the building causing stylists to be extremely uncomfortable. The fact these poor girls are PAYING for this absolute terrible education is extremely disappointing. So many things need to be addressed and changed!!
I am so happy with my hair and how it was done!! Thank you to the student Lyric Crabtree! She was incredibly attentive, patient and personal with me and that made me feel comfortable. She cut and dyed my hair, did a treatment and styled it. The price was incredibly cheap. The salon was a bit crowded but I could tell everyone was just trying to make the best of the situation given the town is growing rapidly and the building isn’t. Thanks everyone I will definitely recommend this place and be back soon
I have gone to the academy for Years and they used to check the students as they opened a ticket and checked on them as they were working. Today they had a lady just start to finish work on my hair, bleaching half of my bangs and bleaching the biggest streaks into my hair. I wanted highlights, not to look like my teenage daughter did the work. Check your students work, please!!! Teach the, don’t just unleash them on the public!! I am so disappointed in this academy.
