Wonderful teachers and creative arts programs! I love this school. In particular, Ms. Merritt and Ms. Henney have been extraordinary. This is an Arts and Science Magnet School, so there is a lottery to come here if you live outside the school boundaries. It is also an Advanced Academic Placement (AAP) school. My daughter really thrives here with an emphasis on project/experiential learning and the arts. In this area, Hunters Woods feels like an elite private elementary school!
I am a student at Hunter woods and because of my experience at Hunter woods, I have wasted my years of education. The environment is so uninviting and the teachers, SO UNFAIR. A lunch lady once picked up my milk carton I threw in the trash and drank it. Please listen, do not send your child to this school.
Hunters Woods is an elementary school, that is really a huge family. Mrs. Cope, the principal, is amazing and her team works amazingly together! Keep it up!
