My daughter graduated from Valleydale Christian Academy. In fact, she was able to graduate early. She made many lifelong friends at Valleydale. The teachers were great and treated each student as individuals. They gave help if extra help was needed. Students have proven to do very well on the ACT test. When I was researching school ratings for the ACT test Valleydale has a higher than public schools overall. Valleydale offers a great prom experience along with many other extra circular activates. My daughter was Valedictorian the year she graduated from Valleydale. Not only were her grades extremely high – her ACT score was the highest that year. Commencements are very special, and Valleydale offers one of the best that I have ever attended. Also, my daughter was a dancer and went to a number of states for competitions. Valleydale and the teachers worked out a way for her to keep up on her studies while she and I were out of town. Valleydale Christian Academy offers on campus classes along with personal home school studies. The thing I liked most about this is my daughter could complete all of her classes on campus or have the opportunity to do both on campus and part home school. My daughter now holds a Masters Degree from a highly rated college. Many graduating seniors have received scholarships to major Universities. Words cannot explain how much I appreciate the school, teachers, and the administration. Enrolling my daughter in Valleydale was the best decision I ever made for her.
Valleydale Academy provides an excellent alternative to the traditional classroom setting. It combines aspects of traditional school, like Prom, field trips, ACT Prep information, and Commencement, with the flexibility of on site classes, home, or online study, at the parents’ discretion. It gave our child the opportunity to participate in Film/Music auditions, which required a versatile schedule. Valleydale also allowed him to accelerate in many areas in which he had interests and abilities, like, British Literature, and Communications, while continuing to study required courses in the general curriculum. We were able to work with him to bolster his interests and skill sets in his chosen field, which was invaluable. The Headmaster and administrative staff are caring, knowledgeable, and courteous individuals that take a personal interest in the success of each student. As professionals, my husband and I are very serious about our children’s success after high school. Our child received college admission into 4 accredited Universities and received scholarships as well. Valleydale was one of the best decisions we ever made as a family.
Valleydale and Ms. Susan have been a blessing to our family! My children never attended public school and attended high school classes at the Valleydale campus. We enjoyed the field trips, park days, classes, and making many friends including Ms. Susan. Ms. Susan truly runs the school to help students and families who have fallen thru the cracks of public school, wish to learn with more options, have been bullied and so many more reasons. She has a real heart for our children! I pray God blesses her and the school.
