I love this school so much! The teachers care and the kids are nice! This is my third year here now and I have loved every single year! All of the options between sport, academics, and clubs, they will let you in no matter your backround or personality. The 1st quarter of the year we have student teacher conferences, which might seem frightening. You make a plan on what you want to do better, and tell your teachers and they will help you achieve that goal. The teachers are so willing to help you strive for academic greatness they will take time out of there breaks, evening, and lunches to help with a struggling subject. They always say Truth, Beauty, and Goodness is what what they want us to achieve. I would say that they achieved that the first year. I love this school that is why I would give it a Five Star Rating!
Mr. Gillingham the principal at Archway Arete, is a great leader! One of the most effective ways principals sway the tides of growth, teacher effectiveness and satisfaction, and lead overall, is being in classrooms and in front of students: you’ll rarely find “Mr. G” in her office. The mission and vision of classical education he helps lead there is fantastic for youth to hear about the things that matter in life, with the teaching of virtue and moral values: honesty, integrity, character, etc. Keep up the brilliant work!
A great education experience for my kids. We’ve been at this school for 5 years and had some ups and downs and growing pains, but overall an excellent experience. The teachers are passionate and caring and very knowledgeable in their subject matter. The sports programs have grown so much over the last few years and all students have the opportunity to play.
