Transferred my kids from HTA cause they want to be 1 grade level ahead so my kids had a very hard time adjusting coming from a normal charter elementary school. Since day one we came to Gateway we where amazed how much the teachers care and work with the students. My kids love going to school now and don’t fear Monday anymore. This school has so many programs to help your kids learn more efficient and go at a nice pace. There homework is very reasonable and doesn’t stress the kids out like HTA that required my kindergartner to complete 3 pages of 1st grade math. So glad we left HTA and found gateway so my kids can have a normal education. The school is very clean and organized we had a helper give us a tour of the school which my daughter became friends with and allowed her to see this school is not bad at all. I give them 5 stars for the outstanding work they do and helping my kids like learning and going to school again.
Wonderful School, my daughter attended this school last year (1st grade) they give out weekly homework & spelling words, weekly which is Great, if you’re a Father like me, that wants their Child to learn at home as well. If you, as a Parent do Not Have Time to help your child at Home, reading, writing & spelling words. Then Gateway is Not a School for Your Child..
You will only be stressed out after a Long day of Work, to find out your Child has homework that he/she needs Help of On.. I Highly Recommend This School for Parents, That Have Time to assist in their child’s Development. ?????
Terrible teachers. Multiple students are clearly sad and the teachers do nothing about it. I like to wear my hoodie because it makes me feel more secure and better about my self confidence. The teachers wont care about how bad you are feeling all they will do to “help” is to say “take your hood off” its “rude” or “disrespectful”. What I am trying to get at is that the teachers only care about the rules of the school rather than your students. Unlike most other schools.
