We LOVE koan. My son has ADHD so I didn’t think he’d do well in a public school, so we chose koan. Best decision I ever made. They work with them and go at each individual person’s pace. It is a relaxed learning environment and open communication. I can reach out to whomever and whenever I want/need, and they respond quickly. They teach life lessons, not just school material. I would recommend this school to anyone. The admin and teachers really make this school phenomenal.
We were searching for a more inclusive environment for our family (2 school-age kids, plus myself as an educator). After the initial tour, we loved it so much, I started teaching there. Four stars because there is always room for progress & growth.
I love this school, and my son loves going there.
