Please check out yelp reviews before considering this school for your child. Let me start out by saying the director is wonderful, but the owner is not so nice. She lied about refunding the enrollment fee when I decided not to enroll my child in her daycare. Aside from that, her actions in regard to refunding me back up my theory about what’s going on here !! The owner is a money – hungry slum lord daycare owner. She is collecting money and not investing any of it in the school! The camera system and self – entry keypad system are cute, but what about the classrooms? Every classroom in this facility has bare minimum except the 4-5yr old classroom. The other rooms don’t have the carpet with colors, shapes and alphabets. There’s nothing on the walls that promote learning, hygiene or social skills. The classrooms lack toys and anything in the entertainment department. One room had a wooden slide in the middle with empty shelves. The infant room had about two toys and one bouncer for about 6 babies. The playground area was seriously lacking things for kids to do. I watched the camera monitor, and teachers didn’t really interact with the students at all. They just sat and watched kids roam the empty classrooms. In my opinion this facility is not welcoming to a child.I pictured my daughter waiting for me by the door every day because there’s nothing to do here. If the owner does not take pride in the facility it make me wonder if she take any pride in the service she provides.
If you don’t believe me, do your tour and see for yourself.
To trust someone with your child is one of the most intimate levels of trust one can give. As a parent when we leave our child in the care of others we leave behind our most precious jewel. Of course, expectations are high because if you are like me you desire for more than just a clean diaper and a snack at snack time. This is one of the first times in my childcare journey that I have been able to leave my baby in the care of others and know she is truly taken care of. Communication is impeccable, the staff is caring, and the facilities are just what my toddler needs to grow and nurture her little imagination. I have been a part of the shiny, sparkling, fireworks daycares with all the bells and whistles, and do you know what is missing? The simple love of children. A child is having a bad and is greeted with a warm nurturing hug, a mother has a million questions, and the staff answers every question with a smile and comforting voice of reassurance. This is what I have experienced at First Class Preparatory. I can confidently say I have had the best experience at this daycare. When I leave my most precious jewel for the day, I know she is in good hands.
First Class has went above and beyond my expectations of childcare. Not only are they extremely reliable, they are very extensive and hands on with the children that attend there. My child has learned so much. She can count to 100 at only 5 years old, write her name, knows the days of the week, the months of the year, the seasons and even can say her colors in Spanish. The daycare director Mrs. Glenn has always been helpful and attentive to my child’s needs and/ or any of my concerns regarding my child, etc. I would recommend First Class to any and all parents looking for childcare. It has been the most wonderful opportunity for my child to learn and grow. All of the staff is communicative and helpful. I can’t wait for my younger/future children to be a part of this spectacular place.
Thank you First Class for being so wonderful!
