Did not pay attention to my son’s transcripts at all they put him in the wrong grade they didn’t even realize it I had to say something when my son was confused about something his teacher said, after putting him in the correct grade he realized he’s already learned everything they’re teaching, that the public school is actually ahead of them. Then I asked my son has he been put in speech therapy, that he has been in it since Pre-K he said no I called the school to find out why they tell me they don’t know anything about speech therapy for him I say it’s in his IEP they don’t have an IEP is what they tell me I then go to the previous school I unenrolled him from, and they show me the email sent to the Harmony School it has the grade he’s in, his GT, his speech therapy, his IEP and Harmony wants to act like they don’t know nothing about this. well of course they don’t they don’t pay attention to nothing they put my son in fourth grade when he’s in third and on that end I should have just let him stay in 4th, because apparently he already learned everything they’re teaching in third in the public school he was in. I will not recommend this place to anybody.

If you have a disabled challenging child then this is definitely not the place for you unfortunately because the principal and assistant principal are both unqualified in this area as they alone get to make important decisions with no supervision or guidance into their actions.Further more they run what’s akin to criminal background checks on small children which is then used against the child during the acceptance process. I don’t know about anyone else but no one gets to make kids feel like criminals in order to attend a school

My child is on year three here at HSA. I have loved her teachers from K and 1st and the effort from them to teach and connect with my daughter. This year will mark her last year at any Harmony school. To put it shortly: safety concerns, lack of discipline in a way that works for disruptive/disrespectful kids, disorganized.. While I like the communication available for teachers/parents there’s far too many cons vs pros.
