My recommendation for Western Welding Academy is coming from a slightly different perspective. My son is who actually attended the school. We began the application process before the end of his junior year of high school. Extremely easy to navigate. Communications with WWA for the next year came via email for the most part. Information was readily available for payment and housing guidance. Within 2 weeks of high school graduation, he headed 1500 miles from home to start school. While he requested first shift, he was assigned to 3rd shift. It turns out 3rd shift was exactly what my son needed. Not only did the night shift educate, encourage & nurture his welding skills, they demonstrated work skills, promoted leadership and helped develop him to be the hard working, reliable & accomplished employee he is today. If you are a parent reading this • send your student. WWA was the best decision for him and we have zero regrets. We can never thank the 3rd shift men enough • above & beyond the expectations.
Just saw Tyler’s show on on Cowboy Logic! WOW! What an amazing trades academy this is, people. Yes, I went to a welding school in California, many years ago. It wasn’t run well at all, and the students suffered because of it. I helped on part of the construction of the Kodak Theater complex in Hollywood. Those other welders weren’t skilled like the one’s Tyler’s welding academy is turning out! Like you said, Tyler. Those men and women who take your traing courses will have a very good paying skill/trade the rest of their life! It’s very hard work. But really satisfying work to be proud of! Thank you, Tyler, for doing this for our young people who desperately need to go into a trade. Learn skills and build a life! God bless you richly, infinitly for all you do!
Western welding academy is a great school as a former student they taught me so much the amount of knowledge from the instructors that they are willing to share is incredible it doesn’t matter how you learn wether it’s being shown or hands on it all together is just amazing especially how much focus they on your work ethic truly makes you want to be better. Another great thing about the school is the camaraderie from all the students across all the shifts I have graduated and still have a lot of really close guys from the school all across the country some of which already have jobs and have helped me get a welding job making good money overall great school great experience
