It was my nieces birthday today we sent her to school and she had a substitute teacher in her 5th grade class who started to degrade my niece because she didnt put her name on a paper and started to make fun of her in front of the whole class stating oh youre a first grader how old are you do I need to change your diaper too On what earth do you think that it would be OK to speak to a child like that especially on her birthday to make fun of her in front of a classroom of children when shes already being picked on. Its sickening to get a call from my niece crying on her birthday. We have had issues with the principal the teacher now the substitute teacher this is ridiculous and its gotten out of hand something needs to change . We have already decided to take my niece out of this school and enroll her in a charter school due to the lack of competence of the teachers and so called professional staff. Its a contradiction to the schools mission statement.
When I transferred my kids to a new school, I had to have a meeting BC Swanson shredded my kids school documents, and not one single person in the office could answer the new schools questions. The new school asked to talk to the teachers so they could get a better understanding of where there are at in there grades and they was told no, you have there paper work, and was hung up on. The paper work, the new school had was incomplete?. There new school couldn’t believe that they did that, especially with one child being special needs. Other then that, the teachers here are great, just wish I could say the same about a few others.
