Im giving Mosley’s driving school five stars not because I passed the road today. I had some issues with the receptionist lady not giving me the proper information. She told me I could take my wife’s car for the road test. I showed up for my scheduled road test and the tester told me I had the wrong car needed my car with the Breatholizer. Which the receptionist lady didn’t tell me and she told me it was my fault for not knowing that. The tester gave me 20 minutes to get my car. I showed up with my car and the center brake light was out as he pointed out being a little bit rude. Told me I needed to reschedule and get it fix and there is a place down the road could fix it. The receptionist lady told me it would cost me another 20 dollars to reschedule. I didn’t think this wasn’t right so I talked to Mr. Mosley and told him what has happened. Mr. Mosley called another tester schedule the road test an hour later giving me time to fix the center brake light and didn’t charge me for the extra 20 dollars. What a class act, such a good guy. Remember driving is a privilege not a right. A serious responsibility so make sure you have everything is order and study. 🙂
My initial experience I was rushed off the phone and abruptly hung up on after scheduling a driving test. The person failed to even give me the address and assumed I knew directions. I had to call back for the address. I caled 1 week later to pistpone the test.
I called a few months later to rescedule a driving test. LuAnn answered the call. She was rude, short quips, and sarcastic as I answered questions and asked questions. The rudeness was her issue. However, I request to speak to someone else “more helpful”. She yelled an obscenity, then ended the call. These peopke are over confident because they have been in business for 50 years. The initial course of the test is so unrealistic and outdated. How many of us park between cones and white poles on a daily basis in the real world? If you fail this part, you must pay $45 to retest, and must pass this portion before even going on the road. I also received conflicting info on the cost from 3 different people here.. DO NOT RECOMMEND. GO ELSEWHERE for better business and integrity.
Insite in to Mosley’s driving school.
1. Make sure you have all your paperwork with you when you get there. If you don’t have your paperwork there is a fee, plus a fee to reschedule your test.

2. The driving course is open after business hours. Visit the course prior to your test day, because the instructors will not walk the course with your or give you a practice run, prior to the test.
3. You will only get one shot at the test, in the event you fail you have to pay an additional fee to re-take your test.

My observation of Mosley’s driving school is they think they have a monopoly on driver testing in the Muskegon Area, so they take every advantage to charge you a fee to schedule, take and possibly retake the test, without giving you tools needed to succeed.
There are several testing agencies in Muskegon County. Make sure you check out each one and see which one fits you and your needs.
