I graduated from Founders as a part of the legendary class of 2020, so I guess you could say I know some things. I attended for my last three years of high school and it was TOUGH, it was especially tough coming in as a sophomore when a lot of my classmates had been there since the beginning. Before coming to Founders I had gone to public school up until my eighth grade year when my Mom decided to pull me out and try to homeschool me because I struggled academically, I was not bullied or anything like that, I mention this to drive home the extent of my academic troubles. I was homeschooled for a couple years and then my parents and I decided that homeschooling was not for me. I knew some people who had gone to Founders and they had said that it was very difficult and
that it was easy to get in trouble. It would be an understatement to say that the odds were against me as I entered my sophomore year. My first year at Founders was rough, and I just barely made it through. I worked my butt off (to keep this PG) and when I say I worked my butt off I mean I really worked my BUTT off academically. I also worked my butt off trying not to get in trouble which to be honest is harder than it seems at this school. In my final year which was cut short due to the Coronavirus, I was able to be placed on the honor roll which I never could have imagined I also served as the school mascot. Not only was I able to graduate from Founders, but I was also able to graduate without ever getting in trouble. As I right this review I am sitting in my dorm room at college another feat that I could have never imagined. Now I am on track to transfer to the university that I have wanted to go to since I was a little kid Texas A&M University. To conclude this unnecessarily long post I would like say that Founders is not for everyone and this is something I truly believe, but I think it was the right decision for me. If there are any parents considering putting their child in this school I would definitely say it is worth a try. There is no other school to my knowledge where the teachers care more about their students. I was blessed to have many teachers and members of who never gave up on me. This concludes the class of 2020 mascotitorian speech. Arrows Up! Go Archers! John out! (John drops the mic and stares off into the distance as the National Anthem begins to play)

Summary: I struggled in school, I worked my butt off, I worked my butt off even more, I graduated from Founders, I’m in college now, Founders is not everyone’s cup of tea but I still 100% recommend this school, the punctuation and grammar or lack there of is not representative of the school

P.S. Founders is the best, send your kids there.

The reason there are either one star or five-star reviews for Founders is because you will either love it or hate it. We love it. It is a private school education without tuition. Standards are high and rules are upheld. Children are taught how to be better human beings, not just drilled in learning information. As a mother of six children with four currently in school, I could not ask for a safer and better place for my children to be. I feel as though we are on the same team with our teachers and staff in working together to train and teach our children how to be more virtuous human beings while learning the value of learning. No school is perfect, but if you are interested in disciplined studies and consistent standards, Founders will be the place for you. I have been in schools where standards shift with the wind and rules are not consistently applied. That is much worse than having consistently applied rules, even if you don’t love all of them. We personally agree with most of the rules, but when we don’t we always ask questions before becoming hypercritical. In most cases, there are good reasons for the rules. We also teach our children that it’s important to be respectful of rules and authorities. As for the classical curriculum, I think it is an excellent place to start children, and we always supplement our children with information and topics that we want to include at home. We realize it is impossible for a school to teach all the things to all the students. And finally, it is my personal experience that every teacher and staff member at our school genuinely cares about our children and teaching them well. We are grateful to be a part of this school.
Great school. A public school we attended before teached our kids that their parents will be thrown in jail if they express disapproval of their tyrannical overreach.
This school instead has a great curriculum, great values and looks much more like a school whereas public schools look more like a pre-school daycare.
