Our 2 sons have attended SCCS for 9 and 7 years, and they couldn’t imagine life without their beloved school. We love the emphasis on learning through living books, the books that capture a story and present a full idea, written by someone who is deeply interested in the subject matter. My boys are challenged in areas where they excel and are gently guided in areas in which they need help. Classrooms are home-like and natural, relationships with other students are familial, and the school is welcoming to all kinds of learners and personality types.
Such an amazing community of compassionate staff, teachers, and families who want to improve the quality of life in our city through education. We have been so pleased by the growing curiosity our boys express as a direct result of this teaching philosophy.
SCCS is an absolutely fantastic school! My wife and I currently have three children attending and we love the school’s philosophy of education. This school also offers a great sense of community and wonderful group of teachers/faculty.
