There’s a difference between a bad high school, and a horribly-run district. This high school is amazing. The attendance clerks actually care about you, they have the best librarians you could ever ask for, and there teachers are well-educated and are diverse in teaching methods like a normal group of teachers would be.

People only bad mouth these schools because of the district rules and what they force their high school and middle schools to do. They already screwed everything up by using a new education system like common core, but the only con I see with this school is that they need major policy updates, and they need to chill out with the detentions. My little brother was absent three times, so he received a detention. And then he missed that detention for a doctors appointment, so they wasted both my time and his time by dragging him on a saturday to serve his detention. I would’ve though they would know by now detentions don’t do anything besides waste everyone’s time. It’s really the most ineffective punishment you can give, LOL.

But overall the school is great. Keep in mind also that they are an on campus school, no student is allowed to leave until school ends.
