This is one of the very few times I am providing a review to anyone, I like to write a review only when it is worth my time and effort. I am very glad to provide this review about Keen Learners which can help other moms.

My son who is almost four now has been going to Keen Learners for about an year. Previously he went to a well known family day care which I thought will be more personalized and secure to young kids. But soon I learned that I was wrong in most aspects. My son (who likes to be at home all the time) soon liked Keen Learners than anything else. The staff are very warm and caring, understands the kids needs well and act accordingly than a cookie cutter approach. Whenever I ask them how my kid is doing in different aspects, I am always amazed at the details they provide about your kids progress. That made me realize that they know about the kid as much as their parents do. Ms. Kshama is Parent’s best friend; she readily responds and ensures parents get the support they need. Her management style is definitely keeping this place a happy environment for kids.

Very soon Ms.Kshama, Ms. Menzie, and Ms.Jasmine made it to my son’s likeable list (which has only mom, dad and other cousins). He talks about the teachers at home a lot. He pretends that he is Ms. Menzie and try to do all the daycare things. That itself shows how much kids like these teachers. There are so many ways my son and myself has benefited from their care. His potty training went by very quick, all I need to do is to just continue it at home; saved my sanity!! Very soon after he joined, he learned how to hold a pencil and now he has the one of the best handwriting. My son was not very much into arts and crafts at first but I have seen a tremendous improvement in his drawing and coloring skills these days. I can say he is well on track with alphabet sounds, rhymes and numbers along with writing. And the bonus is he made so many friends and they are now part of our regular dinnertime conversations!

I should appreciate the efforts Ms. Kshama and the staff are taking during COVID time. As soon as the shelter in place was lifted, I had to send my kid full time to daycare again from May since we both are working parents. I am definitely out of words to express my gratitude to Keen Learners on how they have been handling the situation – Safety comes first to them than anything else!!

Kudos to the entire staff for your support to parents!! Thanks for giving us a peace of mind during this difficult time.

Final Verdict – Happiest place for the kids!!

As a parent, it’s hard to trust anyone let alone an organization to take care and educate your baby. My son had gone through a couple of day care options before arriving at Keen Learners, and I must say I am happy that he is happy here. If your son wakes up every day and your incentive for me to get in the car is “Want to Go See Your Teacher?” My son always says yes and jump straight inside my car and off we go.

There are a few things I like the most about this place.

1. The director Ms. Shama is up front and honest with me all the time. I love her passion and her leadership of her wonderful staff. This is the first school that each teacher will recognize all of the parents by the first week. This personal touch makes me feel very comfortable and at ease that the teacher’s attention to detail will carry over to taking care of my kid.

2. My son is happy here, he is well fed and learning constantly. He receives the tender love and care that he needs so much at the age of two. What more can a parent ask for? Oh yea, I also love the fact that they don’t toss the food we pack for our son, so that we can accurately gauge how much our kid is eating. This is gives us great benchmark data from day to day perspective on what he like and doesn’t like.

3. Pricing is fair and affordable Compare to places around Fremont. Even though this place is slightly further from my home, I am willing to drive the extra miles (pund intended) to take my kid there.

Almost every parent I met there are super chill and happy with the school. It’s a hidden gem, and a safe haven for little kids to learn and grow.

I was so confused when I was looking for a preschool from my daughter as she didn’t like going to school but so glad that I found Keen Learners. It only took 3 days for my daughter to adjust in the school as all the teachers are so caring and fun. She goes to school happily and I would say she actually looks forward to go back to school when we are on vacation. Miss Kshama (the Director) is very understanding and understand the concerns parents have and all other teachers whom I have met are very sweet and gentle. My daughter loves her teachers and speaks highly of them.
As a working mom, knowing that my daughter is well fed in school is a great thing. They provide snacks, fruits and hot lunch everyday and the facility is super clean. School also celebrates all the festivals of all cultures, all special days and the kids get to learn about different cultures and have fun. They have special fun activities and treats for the children on Fridays and my daughter just always gets excited to be there and have a good time with her friends.
Lastly, their curriculum is well balanced between art, academics, play and interpersonal skills. I have noticed a very positive difference in my daughter’s knowledge and behavior. She keeps surprising me with things she learnt from school. Overall very happy with Keen Learners and super thankful to all the teachers!!
