My son recently graduated from little tree (after finishing pre-K). Our 1.5 years’ experience here had been absolutely positive. He enjoyed going to school everyday and made many good friends. We are very satisfied with his development. The rest of the review is divided into three areas.

Staff: This is perhaps the most important factor. The staffs genuinely love the children and care about their development, and they are passionate about their job. They take a systematic yet personalized approach to address each kid’s strengths and weaknesses, this helps to set an appropriate pace for each kid to learn any skill. The weekly teacher-parent written communication journal is an excellent channel for information exchange. Parents get a chance to understand what’s going on at school (things being taught or a cool activity), and parents can provide feedback or express any concern to the teacher. The teachers are very responsible for parents’ feedback and take actions promptly.

Curriculum: The curriculum is well-rounded: On the one hand, English, math, and Chinese are (unsurprisingly) the three pillars. On the other hand, many other subjects (geography, history, culture, science and nature, etc) are adequately covered as well. A lot of crafting projects are designed to give kids hands-on experience. Sometimes, they are used to enhance children’s understanding of a particular topic (e.g. making a solar system with paper drawing and cuttings); sometimes, they are for fun and exploration. Art classes (singing, dancing, performing) are also covered from time to time.

Management: They are very organized and pay attention to details. During the pandemic, they adopted thoughtful COVID-19 protocols to keep everyone safe. COVID exposures were kept at a minimal level (near zero), and the school notified parents immediately whenever direct or indirect exposures were identified. They also organize events very well, e.g. mother’s day event, graduation event, etc. I enjoyed the children’s performance and was glad we were part of the family.

All in all, this is a great school with fantastic staff and programs. Highly recommended!

My child has been at Little tree Montessori International School for two years, and we have a great time with the school. The classrooms at the school are very clean and the learning materials are adapted to the interests and needs of the children. the teachers of my child are very professional and very caring. They have provided us with great help during the growth of my daughter and shared many valuable opinions with us. Whenever we have problems or difficulties, the school will always provide us with timely feedback and help. My daughter looks forward to going to school every day, and she often can’t wait to share her school experience on the way home. In these two years, we have seen great progress and growth in our children, and we are not only pleasantly surprised by the children’s academic performance, but also social skills and problem-solving skills. In addition, we also learned to become positive, encouraging, and caring parents through collaborative communication with the teacher. We developed a different perspective on children’s development and education. Thank you so much for providing a respectful, caring, and happy environment for my family, and we are so glad that we picked the right school.

I have to transfer my daughter to K program soon. We will miss all the teacher and stuff there.
