There is one teacher, one person, who stands above the rest in terms of nudging our lives towards a brighter future- our beloved Mr. Conway, the person who has changed so many lives within the music program. Thank you to him and everything he has done for the program- I’ll be giving him a shoutout here!
If you haven’t already, consider joining the Hopkins music program (if you attend Hopkins JHS, obviously). It will absolutely change your life. Even if (most of) my grade has never gone on the Anaheim trip, I think the kindness, resilience, and compassion Mr. Conway has demonstrated vastly outweighs the trips we have missed. I speak from experience. Do yourself a favor and join the music program.

TL;DR: Mr. Conway is the best teacher I have ever met in my life- and join the music program as well. At the very least, consider it (and try it)!
