HIES has been a great place to work but I have found over the years that the standard of education has been slipping into mediocrity as the number of programs grows. It seems they are going for quantity over quality. Don’t let the “balanced excellence” (athletics, academics, arts) mantra fool you. Athletics rule the roost here!
It aint the school it used to be. They bought the house of the most popular priest we ever had and then demolished it to build a practice field. Ironically Babylonian. Mammon rules here.
Staff members fail to return calls and emails on time. When you do get in touch with them, customer service is terrible.
