My girls started at FCA in the middle of the 2021-2022 school year, and its the best decision Ive made concerning their education and overall development. The teachers communicate concerns before they become issues by offering techniques, resources and their own time to ensure children dont fall behind academically. The administrative staff are amazingly patient and extremely helpful in assisting parents through engaged and meaningful interactions while adjusting to a new school. Most importantly, the entire professional community at FCA has attributed to the notable improvement of my childrens educational development as well as their personal responsibility, and confidence as adolescents.
This is our first year at Freedom Academy. I cant tell you the amount of support and help I have received not just for my kids but for myself as well. Moving from California to Arizona was a huge step especially as a single mom. My kids have adapted to new a learning curriculum as well as a change of life for the better. Freedom has not only helped my children grow in their academics but in their social skills as well. They enjoy attending school which has made my morning drop offs a lot smoother. I found relief in my heart allowing Freedom to become part of our extended family ?? Blessed to have found Freedom Academy!
A strong academic based curriculum that has a solid Christian foundation. A good school with excellent, supportive teachers, a new and growing athletics department, and a growing high school with a new building. My son moved here last year and found the students to be very kind and supportive and it placed him at ease. You need to pack your own food, but there is a plan to begin offering hot lunches. The school has their own bus to take on field trips or site visits. Never knew there was another option for high school in Yuma outside the three public and one catholic high schools, very happy we found this school.
