I went to this school in 2017. I found that the Primary area of learning is pretty good, in general. People may or may not bully you there while at it. When I got into Grade 7, the education went downhill. The amount of screens are now shoved right into your face, and just tell you to “Do Stile” or “Do Education Perfect” or “Go onto Canvas.” This is a pretty bad way to educate people, because it will just make your kids rely on the internet, keeping them dependant of it. Please, reconsider if you wanna go here. Apart from that, the Canteen food is good and the people you get in your class are reasonably nice. Depends on the person. I’M SPEAKING ABOUT YOU, AUSTEN, JACKSON AND JASPER. I AM STILL HERE.
Bayside Christian College has been wonderfully supportive to my three children. With facilities from 3 yr old kinder to year 12 it is a great environment that caterers for a very smooth transition into prep, yr 7 and senior school.
Teachers at the school have been supportive and provided a personal investment into the students that goes above just class academics but also catering for their social and emotional needs.
The school community is full of generous kind hearted people, often supporting other families in the community with meals and practical support.
The school has its own basketball and netball teams which train at school which is very convenient.
We have been happy at the school and would happily recommend it to anyone considering the school.
What a wonderful school!
Since sending my eldest to Bayside Christian College I have been impressed by the caring staff, clean grounds, lovely environment and community.
Bayside is more than a school, it is a group of kind people who want to support your child to be their best and to learn in a Christian environment.
The ELC is wonderful and conveniently located at the primary campus which has helped my child transition into primary and it makes drop off easy.
Early primary has its own playground where the younger students are given the support of older children if they need it. Students develop strong relationships through the buddy program.
Leadership roles are offered in many areas including: sustainability (where students care for campus animals and the environment), hospitality (students help to host functions and make others welcome), sport and ‘Peacemakers’ (kids who help younger kids to work through any issues).
The school community offers support to families who need it, even making meals to help each other out!
The learning support is excellent. We have enjoyed to benefits of the individualised literacy program to support specific needs.
Onsite individual music lessons have been wonderful- no need to schedule extra out of hours lessons!
The sport facilities are great and the grounds are well kept and natural.
This is a great school but apparently the socks are uncomfortable… I guess you can’t get everything right.
I’m posting this from my ALT and i just want to say this is the best school ever. Before i went to bayside, i went to a government funded school. the principal was strict and had no since of how to keep the place clean. there was often paint ripping from the walls inside, and our classroom door was so broken it got caught and almost locked us in. the floor was dirty, the teachers were beyond evil, i had a careless friend who took advantage of my kindness to make me buy him stuff, and sometimes i think it was a FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION because of how bad it was.

Then one day, my parents transferred me to this glorious campus and since then i haven’t looked back. the school could never be better. about 97.9% of teachers there are just, the most amazing people. and every year i’ve had a really nice teacher who i’ve gotten to know very well. the place is very well presented and done up, the secondary toilets are actually clean, there’s a huge oval, a big gym and at the end of this semester we had a sausage sizzle.

The only thing that they really need to work on is handling bullying.
If you stick up to a bully you can get in serious trouble. but if you stay quiet and tell a teacher, the teachers have other ideas. normally i would expect a teacher to tell a bully to “Stay away from this student at all costs” that might sound strict to you, but the way they handle it might make you think twice.
Most of the time I’ve told on a bully, the teachers seem to have a big idea that the bully and the victim can be “best friends”. i even feel like i get grouped on purpose with bullies in activities to encourage that idea. all the times this has happened to me, it’s only worked ONCE. so they need to work on the fact that not everyone in the world can be perfect friends. we all have different personalities. and the way the teachers handle it encourages bullying rather than stopping it.

Apart from that it’s a great school that I’d highly recommend. i see a lot of people on here talking about how it “ruined their life” and i just want to say to those people that, i’m sorry if the school treated you that way, but it is NOT like that now, and you cant just sign on here hoping to get the school to shut down because of their past doings. you can’t dwell on this sort of thing forever.

Again, This is the most underrated school in the state, and if you don’t believe me, my fellow students will be happy to back you up on that.

Edit: i just wanted to answer some popular queries on this school:

“Harry potter is banned but yet lord of the rings and Eragon are not.”

Harry potter is banned in many Christian schools for apparently being demonic, but lord of the rings and eragon aren’t because they are allegories referencing biblical events.

“Kids with special needs are treated poorly and are often said to contain demons.”

Kids with special needs seem to get attention a lot at our school. to anyone who witnessed this, some CRTs can be a bit dodgy. there is a learning support program as of 2021 (I think it’s called S.T.E.P.) and a learning support room and a chaplain.

“This school nearly ruined my life”
Oh calm down! schools have changed drastically over the years and whoever commented this most likely went to school in the 70s or 80s when school discipline was through the roof.

I feel like I’m in a Russian prison when I went there. I had no rights, I felt trapped like the people in that submarine. I could not reach my full potential as they tried brain washing me with godly speech
