I graduated from here in 2012 and never had a problem with anything. In all the 10 years of being there, including kindergarten and preschool, I was never mistreated or ever felt unsafe. It feels unsafe now due to the increase of gang activity, but how is that the schools fault. In my honest opinion, I believe this school prepared me for high school and taught me many things that have been helpful in the years after I graduated.
very unhappy with this school. small children need to wait outside if they arrive before 8am rain, snow or cold. They don’t even let them sit in the lunchroom with all those parents outside supposedly helping instead of helping keeping children safe and warm, they reject children until 8am. Then kindergarten children get rejected and punished due to more then 9 absences COME ON their only children leave that for high school.
The school is good but the food and class s are not that beautiful at all and i said this because i was a student in there pre kinder to 4 th grade and For a little thing the get mad. One time i wanted to get milk cause i forgot to grab it and then they were DONT STAND UP AND GO TO THE OFFICE and i was like tf ….. So yeah just put tour kids in James Shields Middle School it better in there than the elementry
