If you have a small child, kindergarten, 1st-3rd grade it’s a good school, simply because they are segregated from the serious drama that takes place here. My sons personality has totally changed from excitement to just doing what he has to do to get by. The bullying and fighting at this school is worse than a public institution. I’ve spoken to several parents who has issues with the bullying and during the orientation we were constantly reassured that this school “absolutely does not tolerate disobedience”. I had to go out to the school in regards to the bullying situation my son had been dealing with because getting in contact with the student counselor is like playing a darn scratch off, sometimes you win and most times you lose. Finally after having to get besides myself and take it up a notch, the issue was somewhat resolved a week and a half later!!! They want me to volunteer hours and donate this and that but when I needed them to have my sons back they dragged their behinds? Please! My son won’t be attending this school next year, now I see why so many students and staff have left and the school year isn’t even halfway done!
This school doesn’t deserve even 1 star. The He teachers are disgrace and can’t teach I honestly don’t even think the run a background check. They hire who they can and who is desperate enough to work there. Even with that being said the teachers are still quitting left and right The food is disgusting. The kids that attend there are horrible and are huge bullies and of course the teachers do nothing. The transportation and the drivers are a joke. The food is disgusting. They have no electives for the kids to choose from. They have Pe in the parking lot. No library no nothing. My kids told me they felt the school was making them dumber. I had 3 kids who attended the school for 2 years and they literally begged me not to send them back. The only good thing about the school is that all my kids were together but despite that I still changed them to a new school. And my son did not have a 5 th grade graduation ceremony , 4 kids in school first time one didn’t have a ceremony after being promoted to an important grade. They need to start the school down and start over. Oh yea the smell outside the school is atrocious.
This school is absolutely awful if you are thinking of sending your children here I would advise you otherwise. This school is not very good at anything, the food is insipid , Most of the staff are very disrespectful and there is none of those fun activities schools usually have. In many schools there are multiple activities and ways students get to express themselves as soon as the students try to express themselves the Administrators find a way to stop them from doing it. My daughter goes to this school and she is very unhappy, everyday she comes home wishing she doesn’t have to go back in so glad that I’m moving her to a different middle school next year. If you are thinking about going to this school I would say put your child in an environment where him/her can be happy and get an education because the teachers here aren’t so great. Any other school would be better for your child other that this one.
