Disregard the negative review below me, but I had a 4.0 GPA and graduated early through Raines. It’s a good school if you have plans to get into college early, or if you simply just dislike traditional school. It gives you transportation to wherever you live, and it’s pretty reliable and they motivate you to do your best and encourage you to strive and prosper. I wish all of the schools in the Katy ISD district was like this, I feel like people would enjoy coming to school more. I made a lot of friends, and I grew close with my teachers. If it wasn’t for Raines, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
This school is phenomenal! The administration staff, teachers (Dale Jeffrey – Economics/Social Studies), and the College & Career Counselor (Norma White) are very student centered and caring. The learning environment is incredibly peaceful, esthetically appealing, and conducive for learning. I also really appreciate the positive energy of the student population. Amazing school everything about this place screams we care they treat the students like humans and not as if they are a pack of animals and will actually help when its needed if it wasnt for Raines I wouldnt have graduated thank you
