Dani Academy: Where Learning and Love Bloom

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dani Academy. As working parents, entrusting my 22-month-old daughter to someone else’s care was a huge decision. But from the moment we walked through the door, I knew we had found something special.

Our daughter, who used to be a bit shy, now loves going to “school.” In fact, the only tears we see are when it’s time to leave! The teachers have truly created a warm, nurturing environment where she feels safe and happy.

Here’s why we’re so thrilled:

Language explosion: My daughter’s vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds since starting at Dani Academy.
Social butterfly: She’s blossomed socially, interacting confidently with other children her age.

Naptime magic: They somehow managed to crack the code on naps – something we struggled with at home!
Potty progress: We’ve even seen major progress with potty training, which is a huge relief.

I want to give a special shout-out to Shay, Jusmayla, and Ruchita. They are all incredibly gifted with children, warm and personable, and always respectful of our wishes as parents.

Sadly, this school didn’t work out for my four year old. My son was so excited to go then everything started changing the second week of school. He started crying and saying he didn’t want to go. So I went up there and noticed as soon as he seen his teacher, Mrs. Angela he started crying and acting afraid of her. So I decided to check the cameras and she was consistently yelling at the kids, which is what made him afraid of her. I don’t know if it’s because she’s an older lady, but she had no patience for the kids whatsoever. They did end up letting the teacher go, but my son just still wasn’t happy from what had happened and this has caused him a lot of anxiety. My son is now attending a new school and he’s happy and doing great. I do want to say the director was great and she did everything she could do to fix the situation.

I interviewed at this school yesterday and came away very impressed. The ladies I spoke with all seemed highly intelligent and very invested in making their school the best of its kind. The place was clean, spacious, and beautiful with lots of natural light, and even plants hanging in one of the classrooms. They had a summer camp in session and all the kids seemed to be well behaved and having a great time. Children’s projects were on display everywhere. From what I saw and heard, they have a balanced, age appropriate yet challenging curriculum.
