This says to describe my “experience” so here we go. The dress code is ludicrous God forbid you show that you have skin on your should AHHH *gasp* because you will be dress coded. Holes in your jeans DRESS CODE. A lot of the rules here are unnecessary and school is now just about passing we don’t even learn to better ourselves we just learn to pass here. The only teacher I have ever met that is actually here to teach is señora Martin so shout out to you señora Martin (I haven’t had every teacher so I can’t speak for everyone) but the teachers here love to talk about there personal lives and how they are doing. Overall though great school…
Too much homework. This much homework should be expected in college but don’t kill the HS students. They have no life, lack of sleep, no fun, can’t be absent otherwise you have to catch up with twice the amount of homework. They say it prepares them for college but if their grades suffer now, how will even get accepted into college, there won’t be any college. There is no balance with the way this school district is run. Some of their rules are ridiculous, causes unnecessary stress for the student and parents.
1 star for being in katyisd, 2nd star because I am jolly. Their debate team is swell though, but not because of Byron.
