There was a student at this school who didn’t speak perfect english and when it was there last day when the teacher had them stand up in front of the cohort for their goodbye, the teacher asked the cohort what the funniest thing they said was. Alright thats very racist and this kid didn’t know much english so when they would say something people would laugh and they would play it up like a joke when quite obviously they were self conscious and just wanted to fit in.

There is also extremely physical bullying that goes on and the teachers don’t do anything about it even when parents get involved and this is a direct quote from the assistant principle “Please don’t post about this online” well I guess this is what I will do for my friend who went through this.

The art teacher was also quite abusive to a friend of mine and would randomly blame them for things they didn’t have control over ie paint about to fall down that wasn’t even at their station and then proceeds to grab this child by the wrist and bring them there and tell them off and has caused PTSD for my friend which will effect them for many years as well as the bullying from the students at this school in which the teachers did nothing to stop (Jesus pay these people more if it will make them care more about their own students wellbeing!).

I have known many people who experienced bullying at this school and the trauma it has caused still effects them in day to day life. Not to mention I have heard from one of the parents that they got into a fight with the principle because she wouldn’t take accountability of the bullying her child was experiencing. The bullying that continues at this school behind closed doors is insane.

I am a graduated student at Footscray City Primary School and it has been 7 years that I graduated! It is a good school and I highly recommend it because there are very good teachers, they entertain you and a lot of sport programs to get students exercising rather than doing nothing! I absolutely enjoy my time back then.
Ayo education check! No but really, I started prep here in 2010 and stayed all the way till year 6, a very good school with great teachers!
