These people try to tell me where I can and can not send my kids. YEARS back my kids where being bullied every day and coming home with bruises and telling me they where kicked in the head. I was never informed on what had happened to them until my kids starting defending them self’s and then the teachers wanted to tell me my kids are fighting with other children and the principal suspended my children. My husband and i decided the best thing to do was to take our two children out of that school and put them somewhere else. We where told we were not allowed to enroll them until we spoke to the superintendent and have a meeting with him and the principal of the school and that didn’t go so well either. Eventually we where GRANTED permission to put our kids in another public school which I didn’t know you needed the superintendent permission to put your kids in a *PUBLIC SCHOOL*. Years later I decided to put my child in the school I had left with my older kids since gas prices are insane right now and this school is right by my house and I wouldn’t have to drive all the way across town. Now I’m being told he can’t attend that school because there is no room? Hmm doesn’t sound right to me especially since I’m originally in this schools district area. I’ve never had so much problems and frustrations with a school District!
No it’s not perfect but rumors such as they removed lockers because kids were hiding pot in them is fake. The lockers were breaking down. In my opinion this school system has some caring teachers that get the job done well.
Over the last year new management in the transportation department has greatly improved the bus service: The discipline problem in now a thing of the past, employee moral is up, timeliness is up as is the overall safety.
