My child was given a seat for kindergarten in 2021. She received speech therapy and i had to call/speak to 4/5 different people to see if they would be able to accommodate. Not one of these ppl could answer this simple question and most of them were rude. (They also couldnt answer many other simple questions) apon further investigation i found a lot of parents have had issues with this school… discrimination, bullying and issues with the parent(s). Also a decent amount of parents i spoke to said their rules are to scrict and theres to much work (yes some parents want that cool, but thats a big no for me especiallyin kindergarten). Most of the parents i spoke to didnt have good things to say about success academy… Im glad i sent my baby to a much better school. Imagine if i sent my kid there and they played with me like they did on the phone. They wouldnt have liked me. Send ur kid else where. Theres so much better.
We love the Success Academy schools. If you love the future and arts and math and science and chess and a wonderful future for your child, this is a good choice in New York City. Also it is available to you even if you do not live in the neighborhood.
I had heard about discipline at the school before joining and now as a parent of a child there many years, the teachers really care and watch your child and really that’s what you want.
We have been so happy. Go Chess!!!
ive been at this school 2-3 grade I love allll the teachers there my 2nd grade teacher mr. inslee is the bestttt he is so kind, loving and caring I count on him. Also the wonderful dance/cheer teacher mr Gonzalez I miss him soooo much I wish I was still there he is the BEST out if alll (in my opinon) I wish I never moved cause if I haven’t I would still be with my fav teacher – Arianna miss you guys ??
