During isolation we received many check-in phone calls to see how our son was going. This connection really has had such an impact on our son and family as the school really does treat us as family as another review mentioned.
Thank-you to the team at Southern Cross for being so progressive with teaching and tailoring learning to each students abilities, interests and needs. We really appreciate all you have done for our son. 🙂
From my personal experience, SCCC is the worst school in Sydney. Due to SCCC not having a detention system, the kids would perform all sorts of crazy acts and get away with no punishment. Running around the classroom shouting, not getting any work done etc. The teachers rarely had control of the classroom (they try to but the students were very rebellious). I was serious about academics and could not concentrate at all.
I do have to say the teachers were very nice and caring, they try their bests to provide quality education to students who take the courses seriously, but at the end of the day, the bad apples constantly ruined the learning experience.
If you want your child to just get over school by fooling the system, cheating in every test and not learning anything at all then SCCC would be great for your kids. But if you want your children to grow up into mature adults, I would avoid SCCC.
I loved every minute that I was as SCCVC. Great school

Wasn’t treated like a student – more like a young adult who was learning from someone who is qualified and well educated.
