I studied here in years 1, 2 and 3. This is the school that allowed me to gain great behavioural qualities. The teachers are so kind and helpful. I hope that your children have a great time there
Homebush West Public School is a source of noises on Sundays mornings. I am seriously disturbed by very loud music coming from Homebush West Public School on Sundays Morning between 9 and 11 am. I am resident of a nearby apartment. The level of noise in my apartment is very high much above normal say TV sound despite the source of music is located inside the school buildings. It is too loud for me to being able to work, read or even to function normally.
The school shows complete disregard for any of their neighbours and neighbourhood community. One can expect that this is a significant life lesson for school students of disrespect for any others citizens in their community.
This school is the reason we have not left the area. The opportunities my child has experienced, not to mention the values and effort the teachers put in to the students is second to none. I live locally and see the teachers leaving late at night, working weekends and during school holidays, they go above and beyond. Awards night showcases the exhausting list of activities the children participate in throughout the year and there is a reason this school has regular visits from ministerial delegates because you could not find a better public school in NSW. We are a vibrant multicultural community who are apartment dense, the opportunities for our children to play outdoors, participate in sport and get moving is a blessing for most families I am sure. Couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this community and HWPS is the hub.

A wonderful school with the best teachers and learning environment.
Our son had wonderful years from 2016-2020 and had some great achievements because of the encouraging and positive environment for all over growth in student’s personality. Would certainly recommend to anyone who are looking for good school in the area.
