A dream come true! We’ve moved a lot and so have had our son in two other preschool programs. Each of them felt like they were missing something. Alaya is the school I was hoping for and hadn’t found until this year. It’s a very warm, intentional, slow-paced environment that prioritizes play and honoring a child’s natural rhythms. They truly love each child and demonstrate kindness in everything they do. My son comes home singing the sweetest songs and has new reverence for the planet and all beings. I love how they have sweet traditions and rituals like tea time every afternoon after lunch and before nap. We are so blessed to be able to have our son in an environment that feels like a second home with more adults to love on him. We love it so much that we’re hoping to extend the experience with early education at Ziji, which is founded by former Alaya teachers. THANK YOU, Alaya!
To say that this preschool is life changing is an understatement. Our kiddo was enrolled in a more traditional preschool and was struggling with constant teacher turnover and a chaotic class environment. We were starting to see some concerning negative self-talk at home that prompted us to seek a change. At Alaya, he has flourished. He loves going to school every day. The teachers have been consistent, many have been there for 10 years or longer! It’s the nurturing environment that all little ones deserve at this age. My only complaint is that we didn’t find it early enough, and now he only gets one year here! Alaya changed our kiddo’s life for the better, and we’ll be forever grateful.
Our child is currently enrolled at Alaya Preschool. We have been incredibly blown away with how kind, caring, and full of warmth the environment is. The teachers are beyond amazing and the administration has been phenomenal. They are always there to talk to us and help us whenever we need. Our child looks forward to going to school every day and has grown so much because Alaya. The small classrooms and atmosphere are more akin to a family, rather than a school. The only downside is that they are only a preschool. We wish our child could stay there all the way through elementary and beyond!
