Juanita and the team from St Lucy’s were very welcoming and supported us throughout the day. Time spent in the classrooms with students and teachers was fun and engaging. The school does an amazing job at giving each student the opportunity to learn and develop in their own way.
Thank you Juanita and St Lucy’s for a memorable day.
The staff, teachers, aides, and volunteers, are what make this school so special. Their dedication to helping each child achieve their individual goals and be the best they can be, makes us feel so supported and hopeful for their futures. This is the support and community our family never knew we needed! St Lucy’s you are amazing!
Our day consisted of attending assembly with the students, assisting the amazing teachers and therapists with classroom activities, creating sensory toy bags for ‘story-time’, working on an Art Room project, wrapping prizes for ‘trivia’ night’ and assembling furniture.
We were supported every minute of the day and felt that our time was very well utilised. For anyone looking to take part in a corporate volunteer activity, I would highly recommend spending your time at St. Lucy’s School – it will be one of the most rewarding days for your team!
