The school is a safe environment, kids are well behaved and majority of the teachers are nice. However, when it comes to academics the school falls behind. If your child is performing above average they will thrive at this school, however there is lack of support when it comes to kids that face challenges, especially the introverted ones. Some grades have only one class which can lead to quite a large class and if your child is more on the quiet side they might not receive enough attention among more outgoing children. The school also claims to be a technology school but some teachers lack the skills to use these applications. Also disorganise with letting parents know important dates and events ahead of time.
I have always heard good things about the school, so when it was time to coordinate Kindy interviews for my daughter, we included Prouille in our list of local schools to review.
At Prouille we met with the Principal and the tour of the school was given by two 6 graders who were very sweet and knowledgeable.
Now, 6 months into Kindy, and we love the school. My daughter really likes her teacher and has made wonderful friends. Given it’s a small school, it’s easy to get to know other families. The learning environment is supportive and nurturing, and the premises are great. Fun and engaging activities are run during the year which families are invited to participate in. I feel very fortunate to have made lovely mummy friends too.
This school has been amazing for my child. The attention to every detail with great communication from the principal, coupled with a friendly atmosphere, we are very lucky. The before and after school care/holiday program is also amazing, unlike any other I’ve heard of. The kids actually really want to go and are very well looked after by the team. I can’t wait for my second child to go as well! It’s a truly special school.
Prouille is a hidden gem! Amazing facilities, beautiful campus and you’ll feel the lovely vibe as soon you enter. My daughter has had the best year so far in Kindy and it’s all thanks to the wonderful staff and families that go here. We are so impressed with the well-rounded education that kids receive here. Definitely worth a tour if you are considering where to send your kids!!
A beautiful primary school with excellent facilities. Prouille offers so many opportunities in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The smaller school size, compared to other local schools, means that children make friends across grades. From the moment you walk through the gates you feel how special Prouille is!
