Putting our child in daycare at Primrose Barker-Cypress has been such an incredible experience for our family. Starting when she was 11 months old, we were very concerned with how she would do going from in-home care to such a vastly different environment. The staff at Primrose showered her with so much love, attention and care that she had adjusted in as little as 2 weeks. We never have to worry about our child while she’s there and she loves it as well. She’s learned so much in just a few months, including sign language and sitting/staying in her own chair. Their curriculum is wonderful as well and the children are always engaged in the photos they send to us.

Recently, a spot opened up for us at another very highly touted daycare in the area, and within 3 weeks we were back at Primrose. While at this other daycare, which was just a glorified babysitter, our daughter’s sign language skills regressed, she developed an attitude issue, and she demanded to watch the videos they frequently played to entertain the children.

Our family loves how much interaction our daughter gets during the day from the teachers, office staff, and other students. She loves playing outside on an age-appropriate playground (of which Primrose has several for each level) and we love getting her arts and crafts back often.

Our daughter was 16 months when we decided to place her at Primrose of Barker Cypress. It was so hard for us as parents because she had never stayed with anyone else. We knew it would be an adjustment for all of us to leave her during the day, especially our daughter. When I say everyone opened us with warm welcome arms and worked so closely with our daughter to make her feel comfortable is an understatement. The staff and teachers went above and beyond, took the extra time out to get our daughter adjusted and feel comfortable. They have circle time, centers, music class, arts and crafts, etc. during the day and much more to keep your little one busy. Our daughter has already in a month learned so much! They send us updates and pictures daily which makes a huge difference to parents who are anxious in leaving their children with someone else by getting to see their child in the moment of their daily activities. Our daughter went from stranger danger crying at every drop off/ pickup to the classroom greeter waving hello and goodbye to anyone who will talk to her! I am so thankful we found a great place who teaches our daughter so much! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a school for their child to start here!

I truly cannot imagine our children attending any place other than Primrose!! My wife and I toured several schools, before the feeling we got upon visiting Primrose. We both believe in intuition and instantly felt our children’s “home away from home!” The teachers and administrators treat the kids just like members of their extended family and always go out of their way to create an atmosphere of excitement with creative and fun activities!!! Lastly, and by far the most important, Primrose was the only school we visited where safety concerns and practices were so impressive. In an ever increasingly dangerous world, it makes it so much easier and puts my wife and I at ease knowing that the safety of our kids is so well thought out and executed!!!!
