The teacher is well educated in dealing with children who have ADHD. Also the teacher keeps in contact with her students and parents, she also rewards their behavior for following instructions. Also if you want your child to succeed the parents involvement is very necessary to take their stand for their child’s attitude and situations that arise good or bad. Also to encourage that when we fall down we must get back up and brush ourselves off and try again. My daughter went to a charter school where she was on her way to get expelled because the teachers were not properly trained in handling behaviors. Now my daughter loves going to her new school O. H. Perry, I have also see a change in her behavior in school. She doesn’t want to miss any days cause she said ” I don’t want to get behind in her lessons, so I have to go cause I’m going to college.”. What a wonderful school.
Teachers don’t truly care about the students. Students hiding out in the bathroom and running the halls. Male principal was very involved but couldn’t do much to control the students.
I wouldn’t recommend it. Academic wise it’s pretty good, but the environment is horrible. Graffiti on the playground, the bathrooms are gross, cockroaches everywhere (and rats), etc.
