I am a Pittsburgh CAPA alumni class of 2012, my expereince at CAPA was incredible. I’ve learned to balance my academics and arts, time management, team work, and much more. CAPA has prepared me as an artist for the professional world. Being involved in as much as I could be when I was in high school made me comfortable to participate in a classroom setting & out of the class when I went to college.

School is School for any student, kids hate school, but there is no place like CAPA. The staff take pride in having a relationship with the students & parents.
It’s not a place for everyone, but to me and a bunch of others its home for me. A place rich of talent, rehearsals & performances day after days of hard work. A theatre that will always hold memories of the first time you missed a note on that flute solo, or that time where your dance duo piece finally was perfect the day of the showcase, or the day you sat on that stage as a senior for the award ceromony in May.
High school is what you make it to be, and I made the best of it. So should you!

Capa high school is the best possible environment for learning especially when it comes to the arts due to the best Violin teacher in the world, Raymond Eichenmuller. Eichenmuller, or Mr. Eich to his students, is considered the nicest person on Earth by Time Magazine for 15 straight years now. Eich does not just encourage his students to accel in their music but also in their academics by allowing kids to spend time in his classroom to do “homework.”
Cool building, cool school, the amount of floors to walk up and down , HORRIBLE, DUDE I SWEAR. THERE’S LIKE 9 FLOORS AND THE STAIRS ARE THE DOUBLED KIND, WHEEE YOU HAVE TO WALK UP TWO FLIGHTS TO GET TO THE NEXT FLOOR, I SWEAR IF YOUVE WALKED UP THESE STAIRS, YOULL KNOW IM NOT EXAGGERATING. 5/5 experience would go to next year.
